Aunt Theresa

Rest in God's Peace, Aunt Theresa. You're absolutely perfect now and for eternity. I love you.

My sweet little Aunt lost her fight today.

Please pray for her husband, Jeff, and the rest of our family.

  1. Oh Mimi, I am so sorry! How is your mom doing? My kids always thought Aunt Theresa was so cool. Goodness, could you all handle anymore?

    We will keep praying.

  2. Pammie-
so sorry for your loss, I gotta say though, Aunt Theresa was always the most awesome in our eyes. Funny how "perfection" is so subjective. We never thought of Grandpa Carl as anything less than perfect and complete and the bestest Grandpa ever....guess we were blessed with a blindness to the physical in that regard and in Aunt Theresa's as well. Love and hugs to you all during this time of grief.

Remember that "in God's eyes we're all the same: one day we'll all have perfect wings....."

    we love you all-

  3. Hey Pam,
I have been following your blog since my mom told me about it. I pray for Johnny each night after I read (and click). I was waiting to comment when I could leave something witty or funny to make you smile. Tonight I quess I can just cry with you. For the first time I hate living so far from home. My heart hurts knowing I will never see her happy face or here her laugh. I spent the evening telling Carly about Grammy's little sister and all the fun times I had with her. We even got out some pictures of her. I was so thankful to have gotten a few pictures of Great Aunt Theresa with Carly. I know this blog is for Johnny and I know im just running on but who else at midnight do I have to talk to. I won't be able to come home for the funeral and its killing me....but I will be up in Oct. Hope to see you then. Please give your mom a huge hug and kiss from me....and mine too when you see her I know they are hurting. I love you.

P.S. I also found a picture of you and Johnny one Christmas. You must have been home on a visit from the Army since you were in your uniform. I hope to post it as a happy comment when I read you could use one.
