Devastation

Sorry, I won't be able to post much right now.

News from the CT is bad.  Liver is worsening, despite both regimens of chemo.  Cancer has traveled outside the liver to the mediastinal lymph nodes (lower chest) and in the upper abdomen.

Dr. Ansari is giving Johnny his regular chemo regimen today, and adding Avastin.  He will evaluate our options and give us an updated plan in two weeks.  We may be looking at experimental options next.  Radiation isn't an option.  Additional surgery isn't an option.

Heaven help us.  Please.

  1. Pam did you check out any of my links on FB? Are you familiar with the high dose Vitamin C Infusions? Since Johnny has a port he could do these right at home. Or I found a place in Goshen who will do them, Crossroads Healing Arts. You can also go to youtube and see all the videos about the infusions. People have been doing them for over 15 years and having great results, becoming cancer free! I am trying to get Tom started as well. Call me if you want to know more. Tara

If you can, go to the Simon Cancer Center at IUPUI. It's a state-of-the-art facility and there are experimental therapies and treatments there.

    There is hope... (*hugs*)

  19. I am confident that this situation is OK with Johnny. It is very sad as I hate the prognosis. But this is Johnny's journey and we can help make it the best possible journey and man could expect. We've done so thus far...
